House Rules

This is a translation for convenience. The Dutch version is the language in which these house rules were drawn up and in which they are legally binding.

Villa Parkbos aims to provide all guests, visitors, participants and local residents with a peaceful, safe and pleasant experience. These House Rules apply to everyone present on the property and must be read together with the General Terms and Conditions and the Booking Confirmation. The Lead Booker or Organiser must ensure that fellow guests, visitors, participants and suppliers are aware of and comply with these rules.

Physical keys; loss or failure to return: EUR 50 per key.
1. Access, identification and occupancy
- The Lead Booker and Organiser must be at least 18 years old. A valid identity document must be presented upon request.
- Only registered guests may stay overnight. Visitors, participants and suppliers are permitted only within the purpose, duration and capacity of the booking. Prior approval is required for additional visitors or a different activity.
- The maximum number of persons stated in the Booking Confirmation or communicated on site may not be exceeded.
- A booking, physical key or access code may not be transferred or shared without permission with persons who are not included in the booking.
2. Arrival, departure and keys
- Check-in is available from 15:00. Check-out must be completed by 11:00, unless otherwise agreed in writing in advance.
- For a late check-out that was not notified and approved in advance, EUR 15 may be charged for each commenced hour until 15:00. If the room has not been fully vacated by 15:00, 100% of an additional overnight stay will be charged.
- Villa Parkbos uses physical keys. These must be kept securely and returned no later than departure. EUR 50 per key will be charged in the event of loss or failure to return a key.
- Self check-in via the key lockbox is available on request only. The access code is personal and may not be shared with third parties.
3. Use of rooms, areas and facilities
- Guest rooms, common areas, the garden and hired areas may be used only for the purpose for which they were booked. Unannounced parties, receptions, meetings, photo shoots, recordings or commercial activities are not permitted.
- Private areas, technical rooms, storage areas and any other areas marked as inaccessible may not be entered.
- Furniture, artworks and decorative objects may not be moved. Nothing may be attached to walls, ceilings, windows, doors or floors without prior approval.
- Use only the appliances and facilities provided, in accordance with their normal purpose and the instructions given. Personal cooking, heating or other appliances are permitted only with prior approval.
- Items taken from the honesty bar must be recorded in the designated manner and paid for no later than departure.
4. Quiet hours, music and respect for the surroundings
- Respect the peace and quiet of other guests and local residents at all times. Loud conversations, shouting, loud music, slamming doors and other avoidable noise nuisance are not permitted.
- From 22:00 onwards, particular care must be taken to remain quiet outdoors and during arrival, departure, loading, unloading and clearing up. Amplified music outdoors is not permitted from that time onwards.
- Music may be played indoors until 00:00 at a limited volume. Only the music system provided by Villa Parkbos may be used. Personal or external speakers, amplifiers, subwoofers, DJ equipment or karaoke systems are not permitted.
- Music or use of the premises after 00:00 is permitted only with prior written approval. Any instruction to reduce the volume, close windows or doors, or leave an outdoor area must be followed immediately.
5. Smoking, fire and fire safety
- Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all buildings, guest rooms and common areas. This also applies to electronic cigarettes, water pipes and similar products.
- Anyone smoking outdoors must avoid causing nuisance and must not leave cigarette ends or other waste in the garden or on the property.
- Candles, tea lights, incense, open flames, fireworks, smoke machines and similar products are not permitted without express prior approval.
- Emergency exits, escape routes, doors, stairs and firefighting equipment must remain clear and usable. Smoke detectors, alarms, extinguishers and other safety equipment may not be covered, disabled or misused.
6. Prohibited substances and conduct
- The possession, use or sale of illegal drugs, nitrous oxide for recreational use, weapons, explosives, flammable products or other dangerous substances is not permitted.
- Violence, threats, intimidation, discrimination, unwanted sexual conduct and serious verbal aggression will not be tolerated.
- Excessive alcohol consumption that leads to danger, damage or nuisance is not permitted. Villa Parkbos may contact the police or emergency services in the event of a serious incident.
7. Children and pets
- Minors stay and participate under the supervision and responsibility of their parent, guardian or adult accompanying person. Villa Parkbos does not provide childcare or continuous supervision.
- Pets are welcome in all guest rooms following prior request and confirmation. The standard charge is EUR 15 per pet per night.
- Pets must be kept under control. Nuisance and damage must be prevented, waste must be removed immediately, and pets may not be left unattended without prior agreement. Certified assistance dogs are admitted without a surcharge; prior notice is requested.
8. Venue hire, catering and suppliers
- A full day of venue hire starts at 08:00 and ends no later than 00:00, unless the quotation or Booking Confirmation states otherwise. Delivery, set-up, the activity itself, dismantling, clearing up and departure must all take place within the booked period.
- External catering, food and beverages are permitted only following prior request and confirmation. Permission does not automatically include use of the private kitchen, appliances, crockery, refrigeration facilities or any other facilities not expressly listed.
- The Organiser must remain present or appoint an adult responsible person in advance. The Organiser must ensure that participants, visitors and suppliers comply with these House Rules and the instructions of Villa Parkbos.
- Suppliers may enter only at the agreed times and must remove their equipment, waste and deliveries no later than the end of the booking.
- Confetti, glitter, artificial snow and decorative materials that are difficult to remove are not permitted without prior approval.
9. Parking and traffic on the property
- Parking is included, subject to available spaces. A specific parking space is guaranteed only when confirmed in writing.
- Park only in the designated areas and do not obstruct entrances, emergency routes, neighbours or other vehicles. Instructions from Villa Parkbos must be followed.
- Drive at walking pace on the property and minimise engine, door and voice noise, particularly after 22:00.
- Electric vehicles may be charged only using a designated facility and with the approval of Villa Parkbos. Ordinary sockets or personal extension leads may not be used to charge vehicles.
10. Cleanliness, damage and lost property
- Treat the guest rooms, hired areas, garden, furniture, artworks, linen and other facilities with care. Any damage, defect or incident must be reported immediately.
- Property belonging to Villa Parkbos may not be removed. Exceptional cleaning, repair, replacement, waste removal and other reasonably evidenced costs will be charged in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions.
- Reasonably identifiable lost or abandoned items will be retained for 90 calendar days. Return shipping is available on request, at the owner's cost and risk.
11. Access by Villa Parkbos
- Villa Parkbos respects guests' privacy. A guest room or booked area will be entered only where reasonably necessary for agreed cleaning or maintenance, an emergency, a safety risk, an urgent repair or where there are specific indications of a serious breach.
- Where the situation permits, the Lead Booker or Organiser will be informed in advance.
12. Non-compliance
- Where circumstances permit, the person concerned will first be given the opportunity to stop the breach immediately.
- In the event of a serious or repeated breach, a safety risk, illegal activity, violence, serious nuisance or refusal to follow a reasonable instruction, Villa Parkbos may refuse access, end an activity or terminate the stay in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions.
- The Lead Booker or Organiser remains responsible for the conduct of the persons and suppliers they have admitted to the property, to the extent that such conduct may be attributed to them under the agreement and applicable law.
